Ramblings from the Overroads Episode II: w/ Dr. Kyle Washut, President of Wyoming Catholic College

Where we discuss the founding of new high schools and colleges, the virtues, and the Cowboys vs Saints (not a football game)

In our second full episode of Ramblings from the Overroads, Mr. Kinney and Mr. Sicking are pleased to be joined by the newly-appointed President of Wyoming Catholic College, Dr. Kyle Washut, the youngest president of the youngest accredited Catholic college in the United States. Wyoming Catholic College in Lander, Wyoming is a Catholic liberal arts college founded in 2007 that features a curriculum that is quite similar to that of St. Mary’s High School, along with a very unique outdoor program set in the Wind River Range of Wyoming. In this episode, we discuss both the challenge and the necessity of founding new Catholic educational institutions in these changing and uncertain times, the importance of fostering and developing “heroic virtue” and what that means, and Mr. Sicking finally finds somebody else that he can discuss Western movies with.
